TYPES OF DONORS

Cryos NY donors regardless of type waive their paternal and financial rights over any children to be conceived of their specimens. This means that all donors will never know who purchases their specimens, where in the world their specimens are being shipped and/or if their specimens have conceived children.

Cryos NY has the following three (3) types of donors: 

• Anonymous - Children conceived of anonymous donor semen do not have the option to contact the donor.
  
  
• Non-Anonymous (Open ID) - Children conceived of non-anonymous donor semen, at the age of 18, may contact Cryos NY to obtain the identity and contact information of their specific donor.
  
  
• Basic Profile - The only information available on Basic Profile Donors is race, ethnicity, eye color, hair color, height, weight, blood type and in most cases education and occupation. No other information is available on Basic Profile Donors including baby photos, staff impressions, and extended donor profiles.
